I’ve been toying with the idea of entering Matty’s Oscar competition for a while now, considering first one film and then another but nothing seemed right. Then I started listening to the Hunchback of Notre Dame audio book on my phone.
So without any further ado I would like to present my take on Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Clutching flowers from Quasimodo.
Feel free to pause here and sing a couple of choruses of “Hellfire“.
Gear lists to follow – as this is a bit of an eleventh hour entry (although I’m not 100 percent cartoons count) anyway but the Hunchback of Notre Dame is an awesome film , it has goats after all!

Absolute perfection! Brava, Erinys!
Thanks. I can’t stop singing Hellfire now though :p
I don’t see why it wouldn’t count, it’s still a movie. Nice job on the outfits, esp Esmeralda.
It’s actually a great idea to use an animated movie, given WoW’s graphics style. Outfits are already simplified and there isn’t an issue of texture.
@ Cyrme Thanks 🙂
I really like the skirt, can’t believe I’ve never used it before for a transmog so need to figure something out with that.
@Prinnie
Hadn’t thought of it like that!
I wish I had that skirt =/
I love these! That movie was one of my favourites back when I was a kid. (Even if I was annoyed that they changed the ending…)
Phoebus looks nearly identical to the movie!
I actually had a secret cartoon crush on Frollo, which as it turned out I should have seen as an omen because until I met Mr Harpy, my taste in men ran to very similar types 😦
I used a cartoon too, I’m sure it’s ok.
I love that skirt for Esmeralda.
I love the way the belt and skirt meld into each other, it’s definitely a look I’ll try on one of my casters.
Why is it not a movie! It has a great soundtrack 🙂
